Live, Work and Play Better

Hello,

This is Cooperative Wellness Massage & Nutrition (CWMN). Like many people working in the complementary healing arts field, this all started as I sought out my own healing. I know what it is like to be in pain all the time. I know what it is like to have poor health. I have had my own journey of trials, errors and successes seeking health and wellness. I also know what it is like to feel better. I find it rewarding to help people when and how ever I can on their own journey towards better health and wellness.

I am a Certified and Licensed Massage Therapist in Idaho License # MASG91. I took my first massage class in 2003 and finally certified in 2009. The raising of my children has always taken first place in my life. I was very fortunate to go to a school that honored my commitment to family and allowed me to educate in this manner. I don’t give up easily and can be very tenacious. Included in my studies are certifications in Reflexology hands/feet/ ears, Energetic Bodywork, Jin Shin Jyutsu (one of the coolest and most amazing things I get to practice), and the final a crucial component, Standard Process Whole Food Nutrition. In the midst of all this were several apprenticeships. These studies covered, body assessment, what is really going on here. Or,” oh, so everything they taught me in school isn’t working what am I going to do now?” As a result I then studied advanced level sports and therapeutic massage techniques.  Some were in there Reiki was added.

I am very thankful for all my clients over the years; many of whom were unknowingly guinea pigs as I learn to integrate all these skills. Today, I am usually referred to as “much more than a massage therapist”, a bodyworker”.

Whether you are a concrete factual type of or an open minded quantum physics person I offer different methods to determine what your body is saying it needs today. You can direct and custom tailor the therapies you want. My favorite is to combine all of them. We will see how your body responds and then fine tune things as needed.

I love things that are simple yet affective, even powerful. All of CWMN practices are a back to basics and fundamentals to help people feel better. There is nothing new under the sun and we still can’t fool Mother Nature. My goals for massage and body work are to get you feeling better as fast as I can. I wish I could say this happens 100% of the time for everyone, but I can’t. It is my goal though.

With Whole Food Nutrition my goals are to find out what you may be deficient in at the cellular chemical level. Then provide whole food supplements, diet and life style changes and see how your body responds. Many many people have used Standard Process Whole Food Supplements with good success over the last 80 years. They are a unique product. It can often be amazing what the body can do when it gets a little help and is getting the basic nutritional building blocks it needs.

I hope this letter has helped you to get to know me a little and understand the practices offered at Cooperative Wellness.

Towards feeling better,
